ZIKA Virus

ZIKA virus is a virus that is carried by Aedes mosquitoes. These mosquitoes are active during day time. The virus is named ZIKA after Zika forest in Uganda. This virus was first located in this forest. This virus was first isolated from others in the year 1947 by scientists. ZIKA virus is a close relative of Dengue, Yellow fever, Japanese Encephalitis and West Nile virus.

Dengue Fever

Dengue is fever condition which is caused by mosquito bite that transmits Dengue virus to the person it bites. The mosquito that transmits the dengue virus is a day active, day biting mosquito known as Aedes Mosquito. This mosquito is found in abundance in tropical reasons of this world. Dengue fever is also identified as a tropical viral fever commonly found in Indian sub continent.

Chikungunya

Chikungunya is a disease caused by a virus known as Chikungunya virus. This is a virus infection transmitted by a mosquito. The mosquitoes those are transmitting the disease to humans are mainly of two species of genus Aedes. These species of mosquitoes are day biters and they are active during day time only. Chikungunya virus is found in monkeys, birds, cattle and rodents, apart from human beings. This disease is in many ways similar to Dengue, including the transmitting mosquito.

Asthma

Asthma is a condition where a person has difficulty in breathing. This is because his/her airways are inflamed and blocked by some reason. The affected person starts wheezing, coughing, chest tightness and becomes short of breath. It is a long time condition, occurring may be weekly to daily and during anytime of the day or night. Malaria

A plasmodium type single celled protozoan causes this disease in humans and other animals. Malaria is a mosquito borne, female Anopheles, borne disease and is induced by a bite and transmission of causative organism in victim’s’ blood stream.
Malaria is most commonly transmitted by an infected female Anopheles mosquito. This mosquito bite transmits the malaria parasite, Plasmodium type from the infected mosquito saliva to a person’s blood. Then this parasite travels to the human’s liver to nest there. There they mature and reproduce.
